DAI seeks Four (4) Watershed Management Specialists positions (Fixed Term Contract) for the USAID Paani Program.Each of position will be based in each of the following watersheds:
1. Rara Watershed (Mugu)
2. PhoksundoSuligaadWatershed(Dolpa)
3. Middle Rapti Watershed (Dang)
4. West Seti Watershed (Bajhang).
Preference for the current positions will be given to applicants from the local area with knowledge of local languages. The Watershed Management Specialists will be responsible for understanding and guiding the work of collaborating stakeholders in their respective watersheds to achieve the common objectives under Paani Program. In particular, the position will focus on the creation and management of multi-stakeholder Integrated River Basin Management Platforms (IRBMPs) and watershed management plans. This position will focus on accomplishing—Increased Knowledge, Engagement, and Benefits for local water users.
