The position is based in Saptari or Sirahadistrictswith occasional visit to Chitwan.The WASH Officer is responsible to lead and assure the quality of technical aspects of community-based drinking water supply systems, WASH in schools and public institutions. She/He is responsible for finalization, technical feasibility, design/ drawing, endorsement, and quality monitoring, including ensuring the functionality of the systems. The position will build the capacity of partner’s technical staffs (civil engineers) and coordinates closely with government’s technical department to ensure project work is in line with their guidelines and compliance as well.
Requirements for the position
Nepali citizen having graduate in civil/environmental engineering with focus on WASH and groundwater. At least 5 years of similar working experience in I/NGOs and government specially in Terai region of Nepal. Please refer Job Description for more detail requirements of this position.
