BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION
The incumbent serves as a Voucher Examiner and performs a full range of vouchering work for all types of vouchers. As an Alternate Class B cashier, the incumbent performs full range of cashiering jobs during principal cashier’s absence; prepares complete sets of invoices and supporting documents and submits to the Post Support Unit (PSU) for payment process. The incumbent also supports in some aspects of accounting and budgeting function and prepares and updates various disbursement reports including Value Added Tax (VAT) reimbursement report.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
NOTE: Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific information supporting each item. Failure to do so will result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.
1. Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting is required.
2. At least three years of experience in processing financial vouchers for payment, book keeping or accounting /auditing with a minimum of two years in cashiering or accounts maintenance is required.
3. Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing English is required. Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing Nepali is required. English language ability will be tested.
4. Knowledge of voucher examining, invoice auditing and procedures associated with voucher preparation is required.
5. Good communication and customer service skills are required. The ability to use Windows-based computer applications is required.
