Duty Station: RRN Katmandu with frequent field visits
Benefits (gross estimates): NRs 250,000 per month plus one-month extra salary for every one year of service on a pro-rata basis to be disbursed at the time of Dashain festival. Non-cash benefits – accidental insurance up to NRs. 1,000,000 (staff only) and medical insurance up to NRs 500,000 (spouse and 2 children covered).

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have credibility and command respect within the practice of implementing rural development projects as well as activities related to empowering so far excluded and poor communities through right based approach and will be expected to have the following qualifications and competencies:
Terms of Service
This performance- based appointment will be on a yearly fixed term contract basis upon mutual agreement. The emoluments shall be negotiable. The successful candidate is expected to commence duties in July 2016.

Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) is a Nepalese non-governmental development organisation working in the areas of forestry, agriculture, integrated community development, human rights, peace building and social justice, having strategic focus on protecting and promoting economic, social and cultural rights and right to development. RRN also works extensively in NRM, disaster and climate change management activities. Its major interventions are directed towards poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of people. RRN, in a joint venture arrangement with Forest Action Nepal, is implementing Multi-Stakeholder Forestry Programme (MSFP) in Dhankuta, Tehrathum, Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha districts of Nepal.
