Job Description

Purpose :

To provide technical service on supplied equipments outside Kathmandu Valley.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Diploma in engineering from reputed university with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Capable to Inspects, install and maintains medical and related technical equipment in medical and research facilities
• Consults with medical or research staff to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely, utilizing knowledge of electronics, medical terminology, human anatomy andphysiology, chemistry, and physics.
• May demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment to medical personnel.
• Should be loyal to provide maintenance and after sales service at any time.
• You may carry out sampling, testing, measuring, recording and analysing of results as part of a scientific team. Your job is to provide all the required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively, while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• As a scientific laboratory technician, you'll carry out work that assists in the advancement and development of modern medicine and science.
• performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable andprecise data to support scientific investigations.
• carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses.
• preparing specimens and samples.
• constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratoryequipment, for example centrifuges, titrators, pipetting machines and pH meters
• recording and sometimes interpreting results to present to senior colleagues.
• using computers and performing mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs.
• keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability.

Education and Experience :

• biomedical science.
• diploma in electronics engineering.
• the ability to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this knowledge to solve technical problems.
• good hand-eye coordination and the ability to use technical equipment with accuracy. the ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment.
• time management skills in order to work on several differentprojects at the same time
• flexibility in order to work with and provide support for a number of people
• excellent oral communication skills in order to work
• effectively with colleagues from all parts of the organisation and to explain complex techniques to interested parties
• experience in providing demonstrations and writing technical reports
• teamwork skills and patience
• You will also need to have excellent record-keeping skills, Along with basic maths and computing. As you progress through your career, you may also need to learn management and leadership skills.

Salary & Benefit :

As per the negotiation and based on the qualification

Working hours :

Working hours are generally 9.30 am to 6.00 pm, Six days a week, with some flexibility possible. However, longer hours may be required depending on current deadlines and workload.

Working area :

One for Eastern Region and another for Western Region.
