The Technical Specialists will provide strategic and technical input, guidance and assistance on women and girls’ economic empowerment and development in Nepal and should have solid experience in a combination of the following:
Market development and linking women to markets
Value chains
Youth programming, especially with adolescent girls
Demand and supply side economic development
Savings groups and external credit (microfinance, cooperatives, and banks)
Capacity building of civil society groups, community associations and government agencies
Behavior change communication via multiple mediums and technologies
Innovative and inclusion approaches to marginalized populations
Formal and informal market linkages
Grants management
Community outreach and mobilization
Preferred Qualifications
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
Experience implementing or managing economic development programs in Nepal.
Nepalese nationals are encouraged to apply.
