Functions:
To serve as the Technical Assistant in Kathmandu/Lamjung for Slisha WAWCAS in accordance to WAWCAS objectives, policies and procedures.
Train, supervise and coordinate WAWCAS groups to develop and maintain accountability in the program. As a member of WAWCAS team, this position will closely work with Project Leader Farming, TLs and LPLs, and interact with PM, FO and PD to promote consistency throughout the program
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 15 months JTA course, plus one year of working experience in a related field. Preference will be given to candidate with 3 years JTA course.
Excellent in social mobilization skill. Ability and willingness to travel extensively and live in rural areas. Good understanding and sensitivity for poverty, social and ethnic issues and willingness to work in flexible schedules.
