Felm-Nepal is announcing a vacancy for project Team Leader.
Felm is an internationally active organization established in 1859 and one of the largest Finnish civil society organizations working in global development. Felm has been working in Nepal since 1977, affiliated as INGO with the SWC as Felm-Nepal 2009.
Felm-Nepal invites applications from qualified, motivated, and reliable Nepali citizens for the position of Team Leader for a project funded by EU through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) in the Sudur Paschim province.
The duty station will be the Project Management Unit in Dhangadhi.
The project aims at strengthening collective voices of freed Haliya communities, women and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and their networks in defending their rights to enjoy their economic, social and cultural rights (ESCR); and ensuring their meaningful participation and representation in decision making.
The Team Leader will be an inclusion and gender expert with sound experience on HRBA project implementation. S/he will be responsible for the overall project coordination in the field, stakeholder management and overseeing and monitoring timely implementation of the day-to-day activities of the project. In addition, s/he will be responsible for finance administration in collaboration with project’s finance admin person. S/he will supervise a team consisting of project staff from four partnering organisations of the project consortium and s/he will have the main responsibility of overall project reporting to Felm Regional and HQ Managers.

As per Felm-Nepal policies. The full time post is for fixed term of three years with 1-year contract, renewable for extra 2 years. The post is subject to approval of a Project Agreement with the Government of Nepal.
