Our Sansar are looking for a Teacher for our project in Rautahat, Garuda, aiming at ending child labour. Ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with a passion and enthusiasm to change children's lives.
This is a full time role in Rautahat and will be focused on teaching children from marginalised communities.
The work is primarily designed to assist with the Child Labour Rautahat project:
a) Provide high quality classes to the children with the aim of preparing them for regular school attendance
b) Keep all the educational paperwork of the children up to date on the system
c) After the children join the regular school classes the teacher will provide tuition classes to our children and will also work with our local school to improve the educational standards there
d) Keep a record of all the assessments and pass rates of the children and ensure all children get individual support when needed
e) Work closely with our outreach workers to continue improving the project and pilot new approaches to education
Starting salary - 20,000Rs a month. The salary will be increased to 25,000Rs a month after the successful completion of the 3 months probation period. For candidates from areas outside of Rautahat accommodation will be provided.
