Surveillance and Research Officer
The Surveillance and Research Officer (SRO) will be responsible for providing support to the Surveillance and Research Specialist (SRS), for providing technical and strategic leadership to carry out surveillance and research related work in close collaboration with key stakeholders such as NCASC, FHD, HIV Board, NHRC, WHO, GFATM PRs, UNAIDS and USAID. The SRO will provide ongoing support to SRS for the conceptualization, implementation and reporting of research studies, and assist with the in-depth analysis of FP and HIV related epidemiological, research and program process data.

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Public Health or Epidemiology, statistics or related social science and five years minimum work experience in research, monitoring and evaluation, statistics. The candidate should have knowledge and experience of HIV and other relevant health programs in developing countries, especially in Asia and familiarity with standard statistical methods in research and with qualitative research methods.
Skills/Qualities:
Skills and experience in program management, field research, complex further/data analysis, data utilization, publication, operational research, disease surveillance, program assessments will be an asset.
Ability to work in the team and develop and maintain positive working relationships. Proactive and independent approach to work with willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and perform multiple tasks.
