About Your Job:
As the Senior Sales Support Agent, you will be responsible to support the sales team and also accountable to them in achieving their and station / region’s assigned revenue targets. You will regularly provide performance & sales data support and analysis to the sales team, within prescribed timeframes. You will also support sales team in creating maximum awareness of QRs products and services in the market.
Accountabilities:
Provide the sales Manager and the sales team with the necessary market intelligence, reports, highlighting the opportunities to improve, yields and market share analysis.
Contribute in managing distribution channels and database for the sales team, be local CRS contact person.
Use of analytical tools to generate market share, revenue and sales data.
Use and administration of sales activity management software/system
Maintain records and Provide maximum technical support to the sales force to ensure increased awareness of Qatar Airways products and services
Handle inquiries, problems encountered by the corporate/agent and liaise with relevant department of head office, if required
Research and analyse QR market share.
Assist & engage in developing sales plans, PLB (productivity-linked bonus) contracts, sales/Marketing reports, PLB monthly reports/yearly reports.
Assist in group sales and materialization rate.
About You:
You should have relevant tertiary , trade , vocational, bachelor or equivalent qualification with minimum of 3 years of job-related experience with an Airline (preferably) or travel agent / travel management companies. Previous experience in a sales support role will be an advantage.
Proven experience with Amadeus is also required. You will also have strong MS Office skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English.
