Heifer International Nepal (HPIN), a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and caring for earth by providing livestock, education and other resources to help poor families become self-reliant, is seeking a qualified Nepali citizen for the position of Senior Program Manager- Goat Breeding (based in Kathmandu and requires at least 40% of time in the field).
Major function:
The Senior Program Manager —Goat Breeding will be responsible for developing participatory community-based goat breeding technologies, ensuring their adoption and scaling up in line with the objectives and overall goals of Heifer International for improving goat-based livelihoods.
Minimum Requirements:
A Master's Degree in Animal Breeding, Animal Production and Management, or a related field is required, plus seven (7) years of work experience. Other job related education and for experience may be substituted for all or part of these requirements.
