Post Title: Senior Contract Engineer (Level 8), (1) one number
a) Duration: Six months (can be extended based on the performance)
b) Responsibilities:
Contract Engineer shall be responsible for preparing conditions of EPC contract and bidding documents in coordination with other engineers based on FIDIC documents and PPMO Standard Bidding Documents; evaluating the bids/offers received for prequalification and construction; negotiating contracts; handling disputes and claims including arbitration during the execution of contracts; analyzing change proposals/orders and contract variations; and providing assistance to the implementation and management team on various issues of contract administration.
c) Qualification Requirements:
(i) Master's degree in engineering discipline or law or business administration with Basic Degree in Civil/ Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of three years' work experience as Contract Engineer in Hydropower Projects or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of work experience as Contract Engineer in Hydropower Projects(ii)Knowledge of computer software related to the work.

Trishuli Jal Vidyut Company Limited (TJVCL) is a joint venture company of NEA and Nepal Telecom having equal equity share participation apart from other equity share holders. The main objective of this company is to develop the Upper Trishuli 3B Hydroelectric Project (42 MW) located in Nuwakot and Rasuwa District.
