Job Description

Position: Social Worker based in Dhading District Hospital; reporting to Project Coordinator, contract period is
till September 30, 2018

Job Description:

  • Support for social protection and rights promotion from harmonious relationship among patients, care takers, family members, clinical professionals, physiotherapist, hospital administration, public/private social service providers.
  • Keep linkages with concerned stakeholders (DDCs, VDCs, DHOs, DPHOS, Hospital Development Committees,
  • Health Facility Management and operation Committees, Private agencies) for disability card and other provision as appropriate

Job Specification:

  • At least Intermediate level qualification in social sciences or any field with proven experience in social work, preferably in emergency response.
  • Potential incumbent should have paramedics or nursing background having knowledge in Psychosocial, social
  • protection and Community Based Rehabilitation

Organization Summary
