Ensure proper plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, skilled people and workers.
Setting out, leveling and surveying the site
Resolving within the instruction of resident engineer on any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Analysis on quality and cost control, health and safety matters on site.
Attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress with technical persons as well as clients and other representatives.
Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
Supervision on the selection and requisition of materials
Communicate with the local people to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;
Preparing reports as required to present the resident engineer on weekly basis.
