Global Press is recruiting freelance translators to add to our on-call talent network. Global Press is expanding its online presence in Sri Lanka and is recruiting expert freelancers to help build a more robust and accurate news outlet for our Sinhalese audience. Translators will be tasked with translating news articles written in Sinhala into English.
Freelancers in the Global Press on-call talent network are paid by the article and are typically given 24-48 hours turnaround time. Freelancers specify the amount of work they are looking for, and work closely with Global Press’ assignment editor, lead editors and reporters to produce ethical, accurate and locally-sourced news.
