Job Description

  • Designing primary and secondary targets market wise as per the P J Ps of all sales personnel & deliver results on time and target.
  • Break their objectives month wise, weekly and day wise and put up a system of reporting accordingly.
  • Conduct review meetings for all sales personnel on weekly and monthly to track the progress and take corrective action if required.
  • Conduct review meeting for sales personnel once in a quarter to review their total territory performance and guide them on improvement areas.
  • Co-ordinate and execute all the marketing and brand activities as per the agreed by the management.
  • Based on secondary trends give indent of stock requirement to State head- Sales and track the receipt at Distilleries / distributors for regular review.
  • Ensure that reporting sales & marketing team raises their and their distributor’s claims on time and settle them as per the agreed calendar. Strict implementation of standard operating procedure.
  • Designing the monthly extra Scheme as required achieving extra target.

Job Specification

Sales Planning:

  • Planning targets for the team  based on the annual/monthly sales plan
  •  Route allocation and visit allocation for the team
  • Suggest on discounts/schemes

Business Development: 

  • Exploring new markets within the region
  •  Identifying and proposing new opportunities

 Adding new customers

Sales Booking:

  •  Booking Sales Orders and credit notes
  •  Request for Allocation of stocks to the central SCM team
  •  Direct the team to ensure On time order confirmations, follow up for permits and other required documents with customers
  •  Follow up with the SCM team for ensuring deliveries on time
  •  Visit customers based on the visit plan
  •  Ensure that the BD representatives visit the customers regularly

Collections:

  •  Follow up with Distributors for collections
  •  Follow up for C Forms collections
  •  Follow up for the monthly claims to submitted within time.

Team-Related Responsibilities

  •  Review the daily sales report for the salesmen reporting directly
  •  Conduct appraisals of the team directly reporting

 Monitor assessment scores and suggest areas for improvement
