Job Description
Tasks:
Write research proposals
Develop and design qualitative, quantitative and participatory research methods, and ensure data management appropriate to given project
Collect and analyse data, and write reports
Manage relationships with research stakeholders such as clients, key informants and research participants directly as needed
Prepare research articles and presentations as needed
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum master’s degree in research-intensive discipline such as social science, economics, statistics, development studies, and others
At least five years of demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and demanding dead lines including social and business research and monitoring and evaluation studies
Thorough knowledge and experience in research design and tools development, and data collection using face-to-face interviews, focus group discussions etc.
Able to work independently towards the completion of research tasks and ensure the production of high quality, on-time research outputs and reports
Proficient in using qualitative and quantitative data analysis software
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Nepali and English languages
Knowledge of other languages will be an asset
