Job Summary: SPM reports to the Head of Programme Operations and is responsible to lead the ‘Community Resilience to Climate Change and Disaster Risks’ programme portfolio of LI-BIRD. The SPM supervises all the projects under the portfolio including CCAFS funded ‘Scaling up Climate Smart Agriculture in Nepal’. The SPM’s major duties include managing budget and human resources across the portfolio; providing technical supervision and guidance to the team; monitoring and evaluation of projects; coordinating with policymakers, partners, and stakeholders for synergy and resource leveraging; documentation and reporting; building relationships with donor agencies and governments.
Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Ecology, Climate Change or related discipline with 8 years’ experience of managing similar programme/projects.
