The Social Safeguard Officer should have a Bachelor’s degree in rural development, regional planning, sociology or equivalent degree with demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with rural communities of Nepal. S/he should have at least 5 years’ of working experience preferably in the roads sector projects dealing with community mobilization, resolving community and social development issues (safeguards, voluntary land contribution, resettlement, workers’ welfares, insurance).
