Nepal CRS Company (Nepal CRS) is a not-for-profit company engaged in social marketing of family planning, maternal-child health, and other health products in Nepal to improve the national health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services. Nepal CRS is looking for the following position for its anticipated project on MOMENTUM Private Healthcare Delivery (MPHD) Nepal.
The MPHD Nepal project goal is to start a successful business model for the private sector to provide quality FP services to adolescents and others in Nepal. MIIPD/Nepal will focus interventions on selected clusters of municipalities in Province 2 and Karnali Province.
All jobs are on the fixed-term contract of one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funding.

Position: Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation (RME) Manager

Duty Station: Kathmandu based with frequent travel to project areas
Key Responsibilities
Develop RME Plan on project base
Implementing M&E Plan and other research, evaluations and assessments conducted by Nepal CRS Company.
Participate in the internal monitoring and data quality missions, with team members.
Facilitating external and internal monitoring and evaluation missions in the field.
Lead to entry of program data with concern donors
Lead Internal Data Quality Assessment in the company by planning DQA, visiting in potential project areas.
Coordinate with other departments, Project sites and Area Offices for the data verification.
Prepare, tabulate data analysis and report to donors as per project reporting format.
Review activity completion reports, provide feedback.
Update project data base.
Collect and compile study reports conducted by the company.
Develop Project data base based on Activity reports, monitoring reports assessments and research reports.
Develop project log frameworks templates, formats, guidelines and manuals.
Conducting orientations and capacity building initiatives related to M&E to project staff.
Developing and designing ToR /Process Flows for assessments and evaluations.
Design M&E tools, formats and checklists for data collection and measuring results.
Any other tasks assigned by Department head or Managing Director.
Plan and implementation of research studies (household surveys, DISCOM survey, small scale surveys etc.) on need bases.
Further Analysis of CRS related data from various surveys
Support monitoring/ data-management (including data gathering, organizing, recoding, statistical analysis, storage and retrieval) efforts within CRS
Min Qualification and Experience:
Master's Degree in Public Health or Equivalent from a recognized university with three years of experience in Research and M&E.
Preferred/Additional Qualification:
Master's Degree in Public/ Reproductive Health /qualification in statistical analysis.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
