Key responsibilities:
The Research Manager is responsible for leading the research project between CARE Nepal and the University of New South Wales, Australia on the issues of Disaster Justice in Gorkha district. S/he will work with the UNSW team to design, test, and implement the research methodologies and tools to collect and analyze data, train and monitor the field research staff, lead the research process, consolidate the findings, and write reports and scientific articles for wider discussions, feedback, revisions, and submissions to relevant external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s Degree who have strong social research skills with at least 5 years of working experince. A PhD completed (or submitted) in social or behavioral sciences is desired. Experience of working in writing up research papers, research coordination, stakeholder engagement and research communication.
