Job Description

  1. Basic Knowledge of Design, structure,  monitor, configure and troubleshoot networks (i.e. LAN, WAN), security infrastructure (i.e. Firewall, IPS, IDS) and routing protocols (TCP/IPv4/IPV6, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, ISP Multihoming, MPLS, VPLS etc.)
  2. Ensure network wide Quality of Service, knowledge of Traffic Engineering, Policy Routing and Network Security and managing networks for routing and switching for system and Networks. Wireless Networks and Network Monitoring and Management Systems (Nagios, Cacti, MRTG, Temperature status) 
  3. Handle network and System related support calls.
  4. Basic Configure and troubleshoot router and switches, EDD (Ethernet Demarcation Device).
  5. Maintain, update, and upgrade networks; design, structure, monitoring system and configuration.
  6. Monitor  the Clients links, coordinate closely with customer for installation, and ensure smooth operation with automatic failover, Multihoming BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) ,BFD (Bi-directional Forwarding), FRR (Fast RE-ROUTING), TE (Traffic Engineering).
  7. Configure Mikrotik router / EDD / RAISECOM and perform tasks such as auto failover between two links and applying policies like blocking certain websites and marking  traffic for QoS.
  8. Maintain and update the records of our customers in database server along with the  router / switch interface details along with IP assigned, Bandwidth allocated and last mile media details info. Also update CRM. Register cases in e-tracks (CRM, Customer relationship management).
  9. Knowledge of OS ,Operating Systems and FOSS, Free open source system ( Linux , Ubuntu, Cent OS etc)
