Nepal CRS Company (Nepal CRS) is a not-for-profit company engaged in social marketing of family planning, maternal-child health, and other health products in Nepal to improve the national health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services. Nepal CRS is looking for the following position for its anticipated project on MOMENTUM Private Healthcare Delivery (MPHD) Nepal.
The MPHD Nepal project goal is to start a successful business model for the private sector to provide quality FP services to adolescents and others in Nepal. MIIPD/Nepal will focus interventions on selected clusters of municipalities in Province 2 and Karnali Province.
All jobs are on the fixed-term contract of one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funding. The closing date for applications for all jobs is June 10, 2021. Applications received to alter the closing date will not be considered.
Position: Quality Assurance Officer (QAO)
Required No.: 7 (Seven)
Duty Station: Province 2 and Karnali Province
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and get approval of monthly/ quarterly work travel plans for quality assurance activities related to selected outlet from authorized supervisor.
Conduct quality assurance activities to selected outlets in the working area as per the plan approved
Follow up on the progress of outlet based on Quality monitoring findings and propose action plan.
Compile outlet observation data, generate the required data reporting and deliver to QA Manager and Program Coordinator as required.
Assist Service Provider on using the online application for inquires, feedback for periodic reporting
Conduct and arrange all the logistics for the training as per the training calendar
Assist the trainer during training for outsource training activities
Provide orientation to other staff of the outlets on the subject matters as per the project(e.g. PBCC, VCAT, ASRH)
Sharing information to CBOs, adolescents and youth groups and other community groups for the promotion of selected outlets and their services.
Submit complete monthly/quarterly and annual reports as per the project requirement to PC and QA Manager in a timely manner.
Collect and compile client feedback information
Follow up the incorporation of client feedback information in their service delivery by the service provider for further improvement in the service
Follow up for sales data entry information of the outlets
Min Qualification and Experience: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health (BPH)/ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institute with 1-2 years of experience in Family Planning / Reproductive Health.
Preferred / Additional Qualification & Experience:
Ed in Health with paramedical background (HA/ Staff Nurse).
Prior experiences in a similar field will be an additional advantage.
Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.
Local residents of the intervention area will be given preference.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
