Nepal CRS Company (CRS) is a not-for-profit organization engaged in social marketing of family planning, maternal child health and other health products in Nepal. Its mission is to improve the national health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services.
Job Type: Contractual (Renewal)
Duty Station: Head Office – Kathmandu with extensive travel to remote areas of hilly and mountainous districts.
Role and Responsibility:
The incumbent is responsible for managing quality of family planning program through onsite technical backstopping, mentoring and monitoring of the team of Quality Assurance Officers. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating with national and sub-national stakeholders including government line agencies, NGOs and other partners working in the area of family planning and reproductive health as needed..
The incumbent reports to Marketing Director and also closely communicates with Deputy Managing Director and other relevant directors and managers.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
