Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans and teaching materials.
Develop activities that improve student's speaking skills and confidence.
Instruction and Facilitation:
Conduct classes or workshops on public speaking techniques, including voice modulation, body language, and audience engagement.
Offer practical exercises, such as speech delivery, and group discussions.
Assessment and Feedback:
Evaluate student's speaking abilities through assignments, presentations, and performances.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills.
Individual Coaching:
Offer one-on-one coaching sessions to address specific areas of improvement or prepare for particular speaking engagements.
Motivation and Support:
Encourage and motivate students to build confidence and overcome fear of public speaking.
Create a supportive and positive learning environment.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on current trends and best practices in public speaking and communication.
Continuously refine and update teaching methods based on new research and feedback.
Qualifications and skills
Proven experience in public speaking or teaching public speaking.
Experience in coaching or training is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
