Project Officer (PO) - (1): The PO is responsible for right to food case work, with documentation of RtF violations cases & facilitates RtF Vulnerable communities towards overcoming their right to food violations. The PO will facilitate sensitization & capacity building of RtF Vulnerable Communities, along with concerned stakeholders working in related issues for advocacy, linkages & collaborations at local level to support communities struggle towards overcoming their right to food violations through increasing their access to resource & services. The PO will work closely with 'Right to Food Promoters' and local level organizations.
Required Qualification/Experiences: Bachelors’ degree in agriculture or human rights law or sociology; preferably Masters Degree in relevant filed. Minimum 3 years of work experience in food security program or advocacy & capacity development in the human rights field. Skills required are planning/organizing, analysis & documentation of cases, facilitation of capacity building processes at community/stakeholders level, monitoring & reporting of food insecurity issues/situation of vulnerable communities. Learning oriented & able to work independently & in team is valued. Fluent communication skills both in Nepali & English with computer skills (Microsoft-Office Package).
