Project Manager – 4 positions
Job profile: Under the direct supervision of Head of Operations, s/he will be responsible for an overall management of one of the following projects – Inclusive Education, Social Inclusion, Livelihood Recovery or Prisoners’ Rights within HI Nepal program.
Key Responsibilities
 Ensure effective and efficient project implementation and management;
 Ensure the project’s technical framework is in line with the sectorial and programme strategy and guarantee the quality of the project;
 Administer effective partnership coordination and management;
 Oversee project budget management and monitoring;
 Take project team leadership and provide individual guidance; and
 Assume responsibility for internal and external reporting and communication.
Required qualifications and competencies
 Master’s degree in social sciences/work, rural development, agriculture, environment management, engineering, human rights, law or related discipline with at least three (3) years of professional experiences in project cycle management in one of the following fields - education, social inclusion, human rights, or livelihoods with at least one year of experience in managerial role.
 Knowledge in human rights, emergency response, disaster recovery, inclusive education or social inclusion and related policies is required.
 Proven skills in project planning, monitoring, reporting, knowledge and database management, and partnership management;
 Proven experience in coordination with government authorities and other stakeholders; budget and staff management and
 Excellent report writing skills in Nepali and English languages.
Conditions, Salary & Benefits
 Position is based in Kathmandu with travels to other parts of Nepal as required.

 Duration of contract will be 2 years with possible extension.
