Eligibility:
1. Education:
Advanced university degree in demography, statistics, public health or other social science related discipline.
2. Knowledge and Experience:
At least two years of professional experience in census planning, data collection and analysis.
Experience in use of statistical packages such as SPSS, R, or STATA for demographic and socio-economic analytical purposes.
Experience in providing training in demographic and socio-economic data and analysis.
Excellent office computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others).
Strong document writing and reviewing skills and ability to prepare presentations.
Familiarity with the ICPD PoA and the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development.
Experience in use of geospatial packages such as ArcGIS or QGIS for demographic and socio- economic analytical purposes an asset.
Experience in the UN system an asset.
