The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was established on April 1, 1991 under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Korea to implement Korea's grant aid assistance. Since the establishment, KOICA has been at the forefront of Korea's international development effort. KOICA's aim is to facilitate socio-economic development of its partner countries through project type assistance, dispatch of Korean Volunteers, Fellowship Program, Public-Private Partnership Program and Multilateral Cooperation.
Currently, KOICA is looking for an experienced and qualified Nepali national who will be mainly responsible for the 'Integrated Rural Development Project (IRDN) in Nawalparasi District' being implemented by KOICA.

In November 2014, Korean and Nepali governments signed on “Framework Agreement on Grant Aid” to strengthen our supports and commitment to contribute to socio-economic development of Nepal.
