PROGRAM OFFICERâ€1 (Child Development Section)
Term: Regular (Initially for two years unless NGF decides otherwise and will be extended based on evaluation and organization rule)
Responsibilities:
♦ Develop Plans and Proposals for various interventions and programs related to Child Labourers / Children in the Carpet Industry.
♦ Fund Raising, Resource Generation, Donor Relations and Grant Proposal Development.
♦ Monitoring, Supervision and Coordination of all rehabilitation, preventive and other programs.
♦ Implementation of Rehabilitation, Preventive, Advocacy and other Programs under the directives of NGF in coordination with Executive Director
♦ Preparation of progress and event reports of Child Development Programs and submit to the Executive Director and concerned authority.
Qualification & Experience:
♦ Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences preferably in Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies or Child Studies from a recognized university,
♦ At least 3 years of relevant work experience in planning, reporting and program organizing with INGOs or NGOs,
♦ Good Knowledge about the Child Rights and Child Labour issues nationally and internationally,
♦ Good knowledge of computer operations and having excellent command over written and spoken English and Nepali languages.
♦ Ability to negotiate and facilitate partnerships and networking with other NGOs, INGOs, Donors, Public and Private Organizations.
♦ Candidates should have good interpersonal skill and a teamâ€work capacity.
Salary and Benefits:
The starting basic salary will be based on the organization's policy. Other benefits will be as per NGF's Rules and Regulations. As per the Rules of the government, necessary tax deductions shall be made while making payments.
