The Procurement Officer will be responsible for undertaking the responsibilities of operational procurement and supply chain for CRM19 linked with the smooth functioning of National Covid response, HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria Program.

Key Responsibilities
Manage preparation of Procurement process in all steps and stages, especially when it comes to purchase orders and contracts.
Advise on best sources of supply in coordination with the Program and Finance.
Verify purchase requests ensuring all required information is provided.
Process Purchase Requests using pre-established FWAs and Pre-Qualified Supplier (PQS) lists and carry out comparative bid analysis, Procurement committees minuting and PO processes.
Ensure that items procured match programmatic requests and are of good quality and value for money.
Ensure that all orders are processed in timely manner, inputted on Procurement Tracker, status updates are communicated to programmes, and that all relevant documentation is filed appropriately.
Monitor Procurement activities for signs of fraud/ corruption and report these to the Procurement Manager.
Ensure Save the Children’s and donors Procurement procedures and policies are being adhered to and provide guidance regarding their application at the field level.
Use ProSave for procurement process.
Support BVA and procurement & financial phasing.
Coordinate with Finance to ensure payment to the suppliers are made in time.
Support in supply chain activities.
Take responsibilities of other task of PSM as required by the line Manager.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Management or equivalent in related field
At least 3 years’ experience in procurement.
Excellent forecasting and quantification skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Attention to details.
Action oriented individual with good planning skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Proficiency in common computer packages
