Job Description
Process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority
Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier enquiry, quotations, and proposals.
Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships.
Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists.
Work with internal and external departments like store and end user to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased.
Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance.
Reconcile or resolve value and quantity discrepancies.
Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices in the industry.
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management
Look for interested suppliers and negotiate the best deal for the company.
Ensure that the department has important details, such as the suppliers’ qualifications, delivery times, potential development and products.
Ensure that the best products or services that have low prices after reviewing and analyzing all options
Customs, supply chain management, import and local purchase knowledge, understanding power of purchase requirements,
Keen to know or learn technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, general / consumable items and commercial terms, INCOTERM.
Positive attitude, Energetic, discipline, ready to learn and adapt purchase system, enthusiasm to learn always. ERP or other software of supply chain management.
