Position: Procurement & Logistics Officer - 1
Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Properly understand the system for the purchase and logistics department routine work, their specifications and following company’s policies and procedures
Preparation of POs for all indents received from different department and communicating for same with the vendor ensuring relevant procurement procedures have been applied and all supporting documented
Confirm specifications with user if needed before finalization of a PO.
Reconcile of purchase orders created and matching purchases to purchase orders
Compare specifications and prices and make comparative statements for PO
Issuing of Raw Material, Packaging Materials and other stores supplies as per issue slip
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate stock records i.e. stock inwards, purchase, outwards.
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges,
etc.
Coordinate for stock reviews, indents, receipts
Coordinate with production, Engineering, QC, IT and HR departments for their requirement.
Raise, follow up and collect enquiries. Take quotes for competitive offers, wherever applicable
Receiving and dispatching of goods and verifying movements of stock.
Raising the sales invoice from billing software
Managing incoming and outgoing invoices by entering into the software
