Research potential vendors in local market and over Nepal.
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
Negotiate pricing and local urgent purchase
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of PO.
Review quality of purchased goods and services
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases-SAP, Monitoring sheets of procurement-vendor.
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed and work closely with stock for stock/PRF and check in market.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
Coordinate with transport companies, couriers and other means of shipping for timely delivery of dispatched materials.
Keeping records of all billty/dockets in hard copy as well as soft copy for the future auditing purpose.
Coordinate and liaison with drivers(FO), billets( vendor) or logistical team to forecast timely delivery of ordered materials.
Maintain the records of received goods and services with transmittal documents for the handover.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the senior or reporting line.
Job Specification
Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer and Logistics coordinator or officer.
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors) and logistical and ready to work 24/7 for logistical.
Hands-on experience with purchasing software and good logistical coordination skill.
Understanding of supply chain procedures and logistics.
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
Negotiation skills
Bachelor in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
