Job Description

FHI 360, an international NGO, requests applications from the qualified individuals for working as shortterm and long-term consultants for an anticipated COVID-19 Emergency Response under Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Nepal with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in coordination with Ministry of Health Population (MoHP). The period for this assignment is from May to October 2021 with possibility of extension. These positions are subject to approval of COVID-19 Emergency Response Plan and availability of funding. In addition to the specific qualifications and requirements outlined below in each position, prospective candidates in all positions should have ability to perform multiple tasks, and to work under pressure with additional time and efforts in emergency/crisis situation independently and proactively.

Position: Procurement and Supply Chain Management– 1

  • Market survey for identifying possible vendors.
  • Assist in preparing documents for procurement packages.
  • Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery of goods
  • Assist in preparation of documents related to waivers, custom duties and support in custom clearance.
  • Assist in supply of procured goods and monitor the delivery/ installation of the supplies.

Job Specification

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or other health related subjects.
  • Good knowledge on procurement and supply chain, preferably health products, is desirable.
  • Knowledge on custom clearance activities is preferred.
