We are looking for an experienced procurement and logistic manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services as well as overall supply chain management. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.
Job Responsibilities and Duties :
Coordinating the demand identification, procurement, and inventory management of all material items required for smooth operation of the project
Develop and utilize material demand forecast models
Manage inventory levels of key components and raw materials
Managing vendors to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance
Source and negotiate procurement agreements
Administer and manage contracts for supplies and service
Resolving payment issues with vendors and accounts payable
Develop and implement plans to achieve annual fixed and supply costs savings
Complete material cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels
Issue Appropriate Purchase Orders
Assets management/Vehicle maintenance
Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Experience in collecting and analyzing data
Strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skill
Talent in negotiations and networking
Should have knowledge about procurement act and regulations of Nepal
Job Specification
Experience in logistics, procurement, construction and fleet management
Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement and logistics
