Job Description

We are a renowned alcohol manufacturing distillery in Nepal seeking a talented and creative Packaging and Label Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Packaging and Label Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing captivating packaging and label designs for our wide range of alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, branding, and production, to understand product requirements and develop packaging concepts that align with brand guidelines.
• Create innovative packaging designs that effectively communicate the product's unique features, positioning, and brand identity.
• Develop visually appealing label designs that comply with industry regulations and effectively convey essential information, including product details, branding elements, and legal requirements.
• Conduct market research and stay updated with industry trends to ensure our packaging designs remain competitive and relevant in the market.
• Coordinate with external printing and packaging vendors to ensure accurate and high-quality production of packaging materials.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail and accuracy throughout the design process, including proofreading and final artwork preparation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative assets for print and promotional materials, advertising campaigns.
• Assist the Creative head in creating brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all packaging designs and brand collateral.
• Stay up-to-date with design software, tools, and industry best practices to enhance design capabilities and productivity.

Job Specification

• Proven experience as a Packaging and Label Designer or a similar role, preferably within the alcohol or beverage industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in packaging and label design, including a variety of styles and concepts.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and composition principles.
• Knowledge of printing techniques and materials, including die cuts, embossing, foiling, and varnishes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to artwork preparation and quality control.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and legal requirements related to packaging and labeling for alcoholic beverages is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field will be a plus.
