It is a subsidiary company of NMB Bank Ltd. It was established in 2069 B.S. with core mission of inclusive banking. NMBMF currently has area coverage of 25 mountainous districts including Mustang, Manang, Kaski, Dhading, Tanahun, Myagdi, Parbat, Lamjung, Gorkha, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Solukhumbu, Sankhuwasabha, Taplejung, Bhojpur, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Illam, Panchthar, Dhankuta, Terhathum & Rukum. It is planning to expand in 5 more districts of Karnali region in upcoming fiscal year.
