First Microfinance Development Bank Limited (FMDB) started its operation from January 8, 2010 (B.S. 2066 Poush 24) in Kathmandu as national level microfinance development bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank under the Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2063.
