Duties and Responsibilities |

Under the overall supervision of the Unit Manager of WPS Programme, the consultant will be responsible for providing technical, logistic and coordination support to the WPS Unit in the upcoming meetings and events and also for the implementation of the remaining activities of the SIWPSAN project. He/she will work in close collaboration with the operations and programme/projects’ staff to exchange information and ensure consistent service delivery and work in a proactive manner to enhance women’s empowerment and gender equality. The consultant will perform the following tasks:
Key Deliverables The consultant will be responsible for the following deliverables:
Duration of the Assignment and Duty Station: The duration of this assignment will be up to 31 December 2016. The main duty station of this position for the assignment is UN Women County Office Nepal. The consultant may need to travel to the project districts as and when required. Schedule of Payments: Payment will be made on monthly basis dependent upon the satisfactory performance of the consultant. The monthly payment will be based on UN National Consultant Fee structure.

Evaluation Process: The technical component is evaluated on the basis of its responsiveness to the Terms of Reference (ToR). Technically qualified consultants may be contacted for an interview. Technical evaluation criteria (including minimum qualifications):
Maximum total technical score amounts to 100 points. Only candidates who have passed over the mandatory criteria and have accumulated at least 70 points under the technical evaluation will qualify to the next round of the evaluation.
