The Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) Assessment Consultant will support in all activities in preparation of EVM assessment including self-assessments, lead all training and orientation of the EVM assessors, observers and stakeholders. The consultant will also be responsible to lead data collection, analysis, development of the report and its dissemination. Additionally, the consultant will develop Improvement plan, in collaboration with government, partners and stakeholders, based on the EVM assessment findings.
EVMAs assess four levels of supply chains:
Education: Advanced university degree in Public Health, Supply Chain/Vaccine Management, Management, Social Sciences or other relevant disciplines with specialized training in Vaccine and Supply Chain Management.
Work experience: Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in immunisation programme with EPI supply chain performance review; conducting EVM assessment and cold chain equipment deployment monitoring. Working experience of Ministry of Health, UN agencies is desirable.
Special skills: Good written and spoken Nepali and English languages, interpersonal skills and teamwork, self-motivated able to work with partners and work in remote settings. Must have knowledge of health system in Nepal.
