We are seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Broker's Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mortgage industry and excellent communication skills. As a Mortgage Broker's Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our Mortgage Brokers in all aspects of the loan process, from initial inquiry to closing.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Reviewing and verifying loan documents
2. Communicating with clients and lenders
3. Preparing loan packages for submission
4. Following up on loan status and ensuring all deadlines are met
5. Providing administrative support to the Mortgage Broker
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files
7. Answering phones and responding to client inquiries
8. Assisting with marketing and business development efforts
9. Perform other duties as assigned
1. A Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent degree is required
2. Prior experience in accounting and office administration is essential
3. Prior experience in mortgage processing or real estate preferred
4. Strong organizational and time-management skills
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Detail-oriented and able to multitask
