Nepal CRS Company (Nepal CRS) is a not-for-profit company engaged in social marketing of family planning, maternal-child health, and other health products in Nepal to improve the national health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services. Nepal CRS is looking for the following position for its anticipated project on MOMENTUM Private Healthcare Delivery (MPHD) Nepal.
The MPHD Nepal project goal is to start a successful business model for the private sector to provide quality FP services to adolescents and others in Nepal. MIIPD/Nepal will focus interventions on selected clusters of municipalities in Province 2 and Karnali Province.

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Duty Station: Kathmandu based with extensive travel to project areas
Job Responsibilities
Assist in developing RME Plan on project base
Assist in implementing M&E Plan and other research, evaluations and assessments conducted by Nepal CRS Company.
Participate in the internal monitoring and data quality missions, with team members.
Assist in facilitating external and internal monitoring and evaluation missions in the field.
Lead to entry of program data online portal if required by the donors
Assisting in Internal Data Quality Assessment in the company by planning DQA, visiting potential project areas and the consumers of CRS service seekers if required.
Communicate with the field staff, project staff, service points and consumers to verify the data.
Coordinate with other departments, Project sites and Area Offices for the data verification.
Collect and compile potential project related data in a monthly basis. Assist RME Manager during data analysis and reporting to donors.
Compile and prepare Internal Data Quality Assessment Reports.
Track and compile target versus achievement on monthly/quarterly basis.
Review activity completion reports, provide feedback.
Suggest and assist for update project data base as and when required.
Collect and compile study reports conducted by the company.
Develop Project database based on Activity reports, monitoring reports assessments and research reports.
Tabulate and present the database on a quarterly/monthly basis for analysis
Assist in preparing and designing frameworks templates, formats, guidelines and manuals related to RME as per project need.
Support in conducting orientations and capacity-building initiatives related to M&E to project staff.
Assisting in designing M&E tools, formats and checklists for data collection and measuring results.
Any other tasks assigned by RME Manager and Department head.
Min Qualification and Experience:
At least Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or Equivalent from a recognized university with two years of experience in Research and M&E.
Preferred/Additional Experience:
Experience in implementing and overseeing data collection activities and the monitoring process of a project.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
