Post: Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant

Level: SB3/I
Contract Type: Service Contract
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Duration: One year with possibility of extension
Starting Date: As soon as possible
General Requirement:
Education
-
Intermediate degree in management or related field.
Knowledge and skills
-
Basic knowledge and experience in project management
-
Preference will be given to those with experience in project M&E related area,
-
Experience of heritage, tourism or disaster related project will be an additional asset.

An established track record in project management of similar nature.

Fluency in verbal and written communication skills in both English and Nepali and good human relations skills, especially the ability to relate to a wide range of team members and partners.

Progressive thinking, ability to work as part of a team and also to achieve work outputs with limited supervision, and a pro-active, energetic and innovative approach to work; and
-
Preferably experience and knowledge of the UN system or work in international agencies will be beneficial
Years of experience
Professional :
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in project management.
Languages
-
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Nepali.
Computer skill
-
Good working knowledge of computer programmes including MS Word, Excel and Power Point
