Job Description
Mechanical engineers are responsible for designing, mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs.
Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Management of manpower, time and materials for specific work.
Job Specification
Ability to think methodically, to design, plan and manage projects
Proven 2+ years of working experience in mechanical engineering in manufacturing/ construction company.
Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)
Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanical or similar tools)
Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, LabView Creativity and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
Technical writing skills
