Job Description

Position: MEAL Coordinator, Head Office (one)
 

Job Description :

  • Facilitate to design and implement result based MEAL system.
  • Liaise with Area Offices and District/Project Offices to collect, analyze data and to determine progress achieved.
  • Undertake field visit to monitor project implementation, identify bottlenecks and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Support to conduct baseline, mid-term and final evaluation and ensure quality methodology and analysis as well
  • as timely delivery.
  • Train staff members on MEAL concepts, skills and tools.
  • Work closely with staff members and build their capacity for proper data management.
  • Contribute to develop manuals, user's guide, training materials for staff related to MEAL systems and analysis.
  • Assist to produce IEC/BCC materials for the visibility of organization.

Job Specification :

  • Master degree in relevant field with three years of experience in humanitarian and/or development organization in designing, implementing and overseeing MEAL related task.
  • Hands on experience of managing software.
  • Strong statistical skills including knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Experience of developing result framework including experience in developing MEAL systems.
  • Experience of quantitative and qualitative data collection/survey design, implementation and analysis.
  • Good interpersonal, communications, training and facilitation skills

Position: MEAL Coordinator, Nepalgunj District (one)
Job Description :

  • Support District Offices to develop their logical frame based on country logical frame.
  • Participate in preparation of Plan of Action (PoA) and implementing the activities based on PoA and Project Agreement (PA).
  • Develop formats for Community Need Assessment (CNA) and support District Offices to conduct CNA.
  • Provide technical support to District/Project Offices and Implementing Partners on implementing MEAL plan and logical framework.
  • Coordinate with Implementing Partners for collecting data against agreed indicators.
  • Engage with Implementing Partners to collect and manage quality data of their respective projects.
  • Train District Offices and Implementing Partners on MEAL concepts, skills and tools.
  • Oversee the management of data for regular reporting on project progress.
  • Review proposals and reports of Implementing Partners and District Offices
  • Support partners in improving learning and sharing mechanisms in their projects.
