Duty Station: Nepal CRS Company, Head Office, Tokha- Kathmandu
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Managing Director has an overall responsibility for creating the vision of the future development of Nepal CRS Company. The role manages the company and provides oversight for the effective delivery of all of its activities. The incumbent shall work closely and proactively with the Board of Directors of Nepal CRS Company, Staff and External stakeholders such as donor organizations etc. to initiate and ensure implementation of Projects' strategies.
Minimum Qualification: Master's Degree or Equivalent in Social Science, Business Administration or Public Health.
Preferred/ Additional Qualification: MBA with Specialization in Marketing.
Minimum Experience: 15 years of work experience with at least 3 years at executive management level in leading domestic/ international organization or I/NGO with strong project management skills, managing complex & multi- faceted projects.
Preferred/Additional Experience: Demonstrated success in organizational capacity building including financial management and budgeting, fundraising, managing relations with major donors, donor cultivation, HR management and knowledge of social marketing.
Required Skills: Strong written and spoken language (both Nepali and English), adequate computer skills, strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
