Position Purpose/Job Summary
Liaising with international Partners and ensuring that the logistics is coordinated. Ensuring that the proof of delivery is given to the customer on an urgent basis. To ensure confidentiality and smooth movement of all valuable cargo.
Being the representative of Shipping line in Nepal, you need to oversee the documentation process, update and fill the KYC, raise invoices, update customers and release the DO on a timely basis as per the timeframe provided by Evergreen.
Assist the company in customer retention and conversion of customers from CIF to FOB basis.

Responsibilities
Indicators / Focal Areas
Daily activities
Have sole responsibility of the operations and coordination for the logistics aspect of valuable goods and Shipping Line.
Keep a check on the respective operation team, guide them and get daily updates on their operations. Prepare a daily schedule to be sent to the line manager to inform on the activities for the day.
Get updates on the shipments and actively inform the management on the shipments, keeping a real time report on the number of shipments along with the total weight/ destination. This includes proper report preparation and generation.
Directly follow up with the shipping line overseas team and get the required documents, update the team and ensure that the containers are checked with the help of the operations person.
Actively work on converting Shipping line clients from CIF to FOB and engage in setting up meetings with the clients and the Logistics Coordination line manager.
Ensure confidentiality at the utmost level and have the same degree of confidentiality maintained with all the team members.
Sending daily reports to the Executive Director and being aware of the hierarchy in both engagements and following the reporting pattern.
Leadership & Development of Team
Work as an effective team leader and player by providing right coordination to team members.
Lead, develop and implement a results-based strategic planning process at the highest level that keeps all the corresponding departments aware which ensures top level services to customers.
Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of logistic personnel providing motivation and guidance to drive maximum performance & develop the team.
Relationship Building – Internal and External
Forge and maintain relations of trust with customers, partners and external authorities and governmental agencies.
Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of Valuable cargo and Evergreen for the company in ways that strengthen its profile.
Engage with new potential partners/clients who have a role to play in the development of logistics in the country, including companies, NGOs, donors, researchers and others.
Confidentiality
Ensuring strict confidentiality of shipments, customers and be aware of the threats and dangers it may cause if any information is leaked.

ISO Requirements
Ensuring that you are aware of the ISO objectives & policies, both departmental and the company.
To make sure that the documents are timely updated and the SOP’s are followed by each department along with the Top-level management
