Livestock Development Officer_BICAS Project
Practical Action is an INGO which aims to reduce poverty through wider use of appropriate technologies in developing countries. It works in more than 45 countries through its offices in Bangladesh, Bolivia, India, Kenya, Nepal, Peru, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Zimbabwe. Practical Action seeks to recruit a Livestock Development Officer for its BICAS Project.
S/he should have minimum Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry, Livestock Management or other relevant subject with at least three years of work experience in a similar capacity.

Description :
Reporting to the Project Manager, s/he shall be responsible for the interventions related to goat sub-sector. S/he shall provide technical backstopping in designing and implementing the livestock related activities in all the project districts.
